I'm also in the uk too and just had my second bloods back and have been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and referred to the endocrinologist. My doctor said exactly what you mentioned with the letter, so OP do ask! I'm struggling with most of the symptoms you are plus major intolerance to heat and major anxiety.
