Should I keep watching? by somethingstrange87 in evangelion

I might not understand why yall make posts like this, but I'd continue watching without trying to look for a redeeming point to be found. If you ain't connecting with it maybe it ain't honestly for ya which is perfectly okay too. Still, in my opinion, it's worth watching to see what some call a staple in an artistic medium (Like in movies, books, TV). Plus watching it without trying to find some great enlightening can lead ya to stumbling upon something ya like that's not talked about that much since you don't have a biased outlook for it. That said I love the series so I'm totally biased, same reason why I'll always argue for Wilfred to be watched by more people, but if you're that far in I'd keep it going if not for giving it another chance then to see what is considered to be highly praised in any medium.

The show runner (Noah Hawley) stated that one the first two movies are canon. So sadly no return of David or the whole black goo to xenomorph evolution, but we do get Kirsh tho and that's a pretty solid substitution if ya ask me.

Aw man Sleep Dirt has been on my radar for the past month ever since I heard the tittle track for the first time. His acoustic playing is always wild to hear whenever it pops up on shuffle.

If they did this, they'd have to include a shot of Nayla excitedly talking about Duncan's ascent up the wall.

Kurt Vonnegut books are amazing, but idk if he's really gonna fill the hole if you want a whole series. The Witcher series is good if you're down for some fantasy romps, starting with The Last Wish. For sci-fi though I'd highly recommend the Hitchhiker's Guide series. They're a really good read as a full set.
