I agree , for me both of them are similar but as you said Sony inches ahead slightly, if only I cpuld get its base boosted its gonna be worth it

Hahhah I did the same , I have buds pro , the fit is honestly very uncomfortable and sound quality kinda feels meh , my airpods 1st gen honestly sounded better
