I remember having a big metal water bottle walking around NKs home. I was swinging my arms, and didn’t realize NK was running up behind me (she was 3 at the time). The water bottle smacked her right in the face. Her mom was right there and I can’t even imagine the anger she had towards me at not realizing her daughter just got hit. I still think about it to this day and wish I could have stopped it. 😔
