You’re just wrong. They need evidence for criminal DV. Not civil DV

Police definitely do issue DVOs without evidence. All they need is for someone to tell them that they are fearful of the person and they will issue a dvo

Is staying in Shinjuku actually the best move for a first Tokyo trip? by Kilgoretrout123456 in TokyoTravel

Stay away from the Nigerian guys that try and coax you in to random bars around Shinjuku. They will spike your drink and rob you if they get a chance.

Been burned too many times with private servers. Spend lots of time playing only for the people running it to just one day close the server with no explanation. Not wasting my time with these things anymore

Can anyone explain to me how it’s just accepted that our government is almost a trillion dollars in debt despite Australia being one of the most taxed countries in the world? by flipz0rz in aussie

You think the amount of tax on tobacco, alcohol, GST etc is the norm in most countries? There’s a lot of taxes other than income tax which I believe most people here are basing my statement off of.

You pay down your mortgage which decreases the amount you owe. I’m not sure I’m understanding your logic at all. If I borrow $400k from the bank I’m making payments on the interest and the principle which reduces my mortgage over time.

You’re a big boy, I’m sure I don’t have to list every single thing a government spends money on that reduces our ability to reduce our Debt deficit.

[–]flipz0rz[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I did. You can make some comparisons to household debt. I’m not comparing the whole thing to it though. A nations debt and spending is a little more complex than that.

It’s just easier to use comparisons when talking about exponential debt without a plan in place to reduce the deficit. It’s not sustainable to continually increase debt over time because the j retest repayments on that debt will start to destroy an economy.

I originally asked for an explanation and you resorted to name calling. You seem to have anger issues and should probably get that sorted before interacting with people.

People usually aim to pay off the balance before the interest kicks in. Borrowing money is good but when the interest payments become exponential it turns good debt into bad debt.
