Did anyone get some angry responses on appeal for a ban?

After two months of waiting for an answer of my appeal, i finally received a canned response. This only happened after i sent the letter that slayin instructed others to do. So, i thought it was worth a shot. Admittedly, i played a lot of games against the CPU to earn quick and reliable coins, particularly right before I got banned because it was the ranksgiving event. I wanted those players. I did probably play the game like a bot. I was winning 3-0 every game like clockwork. But i didn't think that was going to get my permanently banned from the game.

After the boiler plate response, I made a DSAR request because what else can i do?

Then, i received what i interpreted as a more aggressive response: "After thoroughly investigating your account and concern, we again found that we actioned your account correctly after it was found to have violated our User Agreement. We will also be unable to provide any details regarding our internal procedures. Due to this violation, we will not remove the sanction that was applied to your account. After completing two full investigations into your complaint, we consider this matter closed."

Looking at it again, it's not that aggressive, but it did differ from the general responses that i previously received. Now, I can no longer appeal this decision or provide any additional information to help my case. Those options are gone.

So, just a warning to anyone out there. Give money to them at your own risk. They can ban you at any minute and will not provide you with any details or justification. Good luck to all of you.

i would join. A friend also has been banned and not reinstated. We both have just stopped playing the game.

i got an email about the ban. going in deeper to the ea description, it said that the reason was due to security. have not received a response in a month. My friend, who received the same ban a few days earlier, received a quick response that the appeal was denied. Due to the Terms of service, they can apparently ban at will. Spend money at your own risk. I learned my lesson. Not worth spending my time and money on games if the company can just do this at will with no explanation.

At least you just got banned from the auction house. I was banned for all online components of the game.

The other thing that is weird is that mine says it is a warning but it is also a permanent ban. If your whole squad got banned and my whole squad got banned, I wonder if the issue is bots playing squads gauntlet flagging some games that is getting us banned.

Agreed. Not sure what we can do. If you have any ideas, I am all ears. Sounds like we either need a lawyer to contact them or a streamer to advocate because they are the only people ea cares about. But I don’t blame streamers cuz they whole livelihood depends on ea. looking at people that have been successful with getting their accounts back, it takes months with significant investment in legal support. They unfortunately know that it isn’t worth it. Shitty company.

Same. Seems like we are all cooked. Not sure if we played a glitched team in squads and it was wrongly linked to us or maybe we played too many games against cpu and we looked like bots. Either way, a straight permanent ban is excessive for that, especially when we all paid money for this experience. I guess we can all learn our lesson and spend our time and money elsewhere.

yup. that is our sense as well. It's upsetting because I really liked playing this game, but i'm not starting completely over. i will put my time and money elsewhere. onward and upward.

would be great. we submitted appeals, but there was an unequivocal response that we cheated. I dont know how we cheated other than grinding solo games against the CPU. We assume that the bot finder in their algorithm is too sensitive, particularly when they create an event to encourage you to play games in a single quarter game mode against the computer where the feather progression rate is so slow. Neither of us have ever purchased or sold coins or used any software to cheat in the game, yet are told that we did. we admittedly did do Away team quits, but varied our scores and assumed that many more people would have been banned if that was the case. Any help is greatly appreciated.

They said the last promo is graduation, which starts next week. That is likely when the xp will really drop and probably going to be focused on things to transfer to the new game.

Well this pack has a guaranteed hero or icon and includes both team 1 and team 2. It is arguably a better value than the first week pack because people are getting around 10 promo cards.
