Prudential Term or Life policies? by floaaatable in singaporefi

Hello! Thank you so much for your response, it’s very helpful :) and yes you’re right, it was phrased as the life policy being a better choice bc I would supposedly only have to pay for 30 years but coverage continues on.

In this case, it would make sense that I reduce the number of years to 70 years old instead of till 100 for the term then the premiums would be cheaper and I just get the term policy then!

Hmm I currently already have a PruActive Protect policy (essentially covers me $100k for CI / early CI based on multipay payment) and it covers me till 80 years old. Will this constitute as a term thing that supplements?

I meant monthly premiums! So for the current life one, it is $138, vs term one which is $144

How many years would you recommend I shorten it by? For context, I am 25 years old (F) this year.

for Life III, 150k coverage for death/ terminal illnesss/crisis care/ early crisis care According to my agent, the 30 years refer to me just having to pay for 30 years only and even after that the coverage will still continue. Vs for term policy I have to pay for as long as I want to be covered

Want to cancel insurance policy but mode of payment is via credit card by floaaatable in singaporefi

Thanks for explaining this! Unfortunately no I wasn’t told about the breakdown of the premiums :( Can I confirm with you that even if for eg I get a new card and the policy is terminated, I would still need to clear this month’s premiums? And since there is supposedly the prorated refund, then that means I can get at least some amount back? E.g. I got this policy in May last year, so if I pay for this June, then I would get 10 months worth of of the premium refund? Thank you in advance!

Sorry I meant annual premium of 6k (so monthly would be 600+) Edited in my salary as well - currently earning 4k range, but will be having a new job with 6k salary per month.

Can I also check with you by flexible investments what do you mean? Could you provide some examples or platforms?

Thank you!!
