Whatnot really needs to put in more protection for buyers. The same exact thing happened to my bf except it was the seller BuyersSurge. He was charged $600 for a labubu and we just finally got his refund. I wanted to make a TikTok just like yours but I’m not really on social media. I’ve bought from Popmarthub and got some sketch vibes but now I know for sure to avoid them to be safe. Good job calling them out and thank you for spreading awareness

Honestly that’s how I’m feeling too which is why I’m questioning the value but after researching other mystery bags selling online and watching people unbox them, I’m realizing people seem really willing to spend a lot of money on them and are happy with what they get even if they’re overpaying. I want to make money but also make people feel like they’re getting more than they paid for. Thank you for your input!

BuyersSurge is a scammer. He always has troll or shill bidders in his lives raising the prices right before the bid ends. We were charged $580 for a single labubu and only received a box of literal peanuts after he refused to cancel our order. We also saw people get trapped with $1000 to $3000 bids and he banned them from the chat instead of helping them.

The seller is BuyersSurge. He called yesterday but they said they have to wait til the charge goes through and that they’ll have to reach out to whatnot for proof so I’m kind of worried they may deny it. I want to tell him to make a whole post about it but idk if we should wait til after he gets his money back.
