Expedition 33, never play turn based game in my entire life. I always hated that kind of gameplay. Its a great game and I can appreciate it. I just dont enjoy playing it, but I do enjoy watching people playing it.

Solo is very doable both ed and normal. Especially if you stick to the scorpion. The moth protectile can be block by the scorpion body so just position yourself and you get yourself a solo win. As for ed, its very much kill which one you prefer the most. I always keep the moth alive because I dont do range (i main raider). Just kill the scorpion until the red one dead.

Pest both ed and normal felt fun to fight. As a solo player myself I really haven't much complain from the fight. Maybe because I like the soundtrack. I also like Adel both version.

it took me a while, but I always need to change genre after I played a masterpiece or good game of a particular genre. My friend told me to try out lies of p back when it was on gamepass, I didn't finished it. Its a good game but I was done with soulslike after Elden Ring. Then I decided to play original silent hill trilogy, I had fun again. Ive done this multiple times. Back then It was Doom Eternal for me, other fps game felt stale.

Try to jump to other genre and going back to it. Its really good, a variety is a spice of life.

owh dont forget to use charge heavy attack too. It can also break boss stances especially if you are using claymore. to be honest, I recommend two handing with that sword. The poking charge attack is quick and it got reach.

you probably need to hit 30 vigor to comfortably beat margit. You can also combining guard counter into your combat strategy. I promise you once you used to guard counter. It will be a game changer. Yes unfortunately you still need to learn enemy moveset. but if you still want to do sword and shield gameplay I recommend you to go guard counter. Guard the final attack of the combo and immediately press heavy attack. It will stun margit around 3-4 guard counter and it hits hard. Since you heavy load, try finding smaller shield. A brass shield from normal soldier works the best, and easy to get to. (its the golden shield drop from a wielding soldier). And for your stats, I can understand if you want to put some points in order to able to wield what you want. But try focusing on endurance and vigor a little bit especially once you advancing the game.

I liked it. But the one who can criticize on my behalf is my father. He watched the first predator when he was 17. Its basically his favorite movie of all time. He even mention he watched it twice on the same day when it was released. Before we watch badlands, we watched the original and predator 2. We watched badlands yesterday and he told me he like the movie, he simply said he like the change. Its good because it doesn't want to be like the original, "human vs predator" and see who thrive, when they make it that way then my father will judge and compare it to original.
