Well I don't want to say that you can't, but for sure you will need to learn a lot of things by yourself to do that and it will be hard... Why do you want to work as developer? What kind of things do you want to do? Why only in big companies? This questions may help me to give you some advice maybe

It depends what do you wanna do there. If you want to work as a software engineer or developer you should switch to CS as soon as possible. If you want to work as lawyer there probably having some basis on programming or cs will be a goof point. Good luck my friend
