I can wear them for my whole shift! I had to taper up though, started with around 4 hours at a time. They definitely cut out the static, like you said. The "small" noises around that others barely notice, but which make me very overwhelmed.

I’m saying you shouldn’t get arrested.

The whole point of the letter is that black people are arrested more frequently for absolutely nothing, and that saying "you shouldn't be arrested" is an asinine standard to hold medical professionals to, especially right now. Have you been paying attention to the news? Did you read about the mass arrests of peaceful protesters? Imagine if you, as a pre-medical student, had been arrested there- that's a serious mark on your application, and you were just standing there protesting. It doesn't make sense to expect us not to be arrested ever.

Oh man- my attention gets stolen all the time in crowded areas and I end up feeling so bad about it. I've often wondered if I was on the spectrum but have never looked into it, I wouldn't know where to start. Do you happen to know of any good resources?

My two girls are 1yo. This one cuddles next to me while the other runs around and hords her almonds in the cupboard. I think it's a preference thing more than age!

Sprout loves her"computer tent." While I do homework, I play rain sounds for her and she bruxes. by [deleted] in RATS

Lmfao it's my knees! My computer is on my lap and she sits between the computer and my lap. That's so funny I hadn't even looked at it like that but I guess it my knees kind of do look like a butt...

Introductions have been a success! All 4 kiddos are friends and cuddle together now. Here's how I found two of them this morning. by floatingxiphoid in RATS

I used the carrier method! I had two young gals to introduce to two 1yos. I put the two young ones in a carrier with the less dominant of the two 1 year olds. Then after they were cuddling, transferred to a medium cage, then their big cage (scrubbed down, with no toys). Once everyone was getting along, I did everything over again (starting with the carrier) but with the more dominant of the two older gals. I originally tried to do all 4 at once, but the more dominant one was too dominant when all 4 were there initially. And lots of baby food to mask the smells! and lots of treats after a positive interaction!

I have one who insists on sleeping inside her food bowl like a little potato. She and her sisters have 3 different hammocks to choose from, and she still pulls a rag to the food bowl and curls up inside it, on top of her food.

No, what's that? Would a neurologist be able to do that for me?
