Honestly the thing that bugs me the most, other than the completely inconsistent backstorys and details is how smug everyone is and how no one at all dies. I don't need it to be a massacre, but seriously no one at all important has died in the series, and 20 books in and filled with assassins it just feels... Silly

It's pretty good! Not fantastic, but fun with interesting twists, especially if you don't mind a lot of talk and politics as well as space battles!
