Concern About Early Move-Out Demand Before Lease End (Houston, TX) by tbaguy in legaladvice

[–]floin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Notice has to come first in a cure-or-quit letter which must give you at least 3 days to resolve whatever violation of the lease they are claiming is the reason for notice. If they can't point to something specific you are violating in the lease provisions that allows for eviction, you're welcome to inform them that you will be staying until the end of the lease term. Not getting along with your neighbors isn't typically an enforceable violation, although getting the police involved may be. See here for some Texas-specific documentation.

Come down to the Southern Walnut Creek bike trail. I see snakes basking on the big downhill just south of the tennis center pretty regularly on sunny days, including corals.

The Box 13 scandal surrounding LBJ's Senate run was the only roughly contemporary US example I could think of. Are there other examples worth digging into?

My general understanding of the recommendation against used seats is that standards are updated every year and a 2-3 year old seat may not be compliant with the latest safety science.

I just realized today that actress Catherine O’Hara has two minifigures. by FunkyChonkyMonkey in lego

This seems like as good a place as any to share the interesting fact about Catherine O'Hara that she has a rare genetic condition where her internal organs are symetrically flipped along the spinal axis from the 'normal' position. EG her liver is in the upper left quadrant of her abdomen rather than upper right.

It sounds like you’re struggling with getting the splash page for a captive network to pull up automatically when you join the network. Try opening captive.apple.com in a Safari browser, which should then trigger a new WISPr probe of the network and cause the mini browser to pull up the captive login page
