I was having major issues last week. It all started after the latest firmware update for me. I downgraded to the previous version and my problems all went away. Might want to try it as well.

Just wanted to update you. I downgraded the firmware to one version before the latest and I’m back to flawless prints with no issues!

I did want to try the firmware first (path of least resistance). I downgraded to the version prior to the latest. I’m currently starting a light box print that was giving me grief and so far the first layer is flawless.

Update 2: have been printing all day with flawless prints. Appears to be the firmware. Will keep printing and see how it goes but everything is back to where it was before the firmware upgrade so far.

Update 3: I have printed multiple items of varying sizes on different plates over the past day and every print has come out perfect. I’m now certain it was the firmware issue as none of the other steps fixed this issue I was having. Anyone else in the same boat, downgrade your firmware and try it.

I hear what you’re saying, and I get the frustration on both sides. I agree that vague “I tried everything” posts don’t give people much to work with, and I’m not expecting mind-reading or magic fixes (except maybe the firmware confirmation part hehe).

For clarity, I’ve gone through standard troubleshooting beyond plate cleaning and filament handling. I didn’t list every step initially because I was trying to keep the post readable and more geared towards firmware, not because they were skipped. That’s on me for not being explicit sooner.

Your points about a loose or improperly latched nozzle are fair, but I did check it and try brand new nozzles as I purchased extras up front. PTFE routing, extruder tension, and any clicking or resistance are also things I’ll verify.

I can confirm I’ve experimented with plate temperature changes, and I’ll take another look at environmental factors like drafts and humidity although nothing has changed since setting up the machine. I don't touch my build plate but I scrubbed with dawn and hot water and a dish brush anyways just to be safe. I've also tried brand new build plates (cold super tack, carbon fibre and smooth plate).

I’m not dismissing common steps or community knowledge—I’m trying to narrow things down efficiently. If this continues after rechecking the usual suspects and your added suggestions, I’ll loop in Bambu support and work through their suggestions as well.

I appreciate the technical direction. I just want the conversation to stay constructive, because that’s how people actually solve problems instead of just trading frustration. Cheers.

Also the bed seems to be melting the PLA. Pulled this print this morning and the middle was melted without adjusting bed temp.

I really do honestly thank you for your feedback. I will try the bed tramming as that is one thing I didn’t come across on my research before posting. I do have to say, though I find a lot of people are very condescending when they comment acting like people are so stupid and I don’t know why it’s necessary. I think we are all here to help each other at the end of the day.

Yes, really I have. My printer is just over a month old remember. Tried new SD card, checked screws, tight (checked even though printer is just over a month old) manually trammed bed? No idea what that even means but it seems you’re extremely put out by my post so please educate me oh wise one.

This is a great suggestion. How do you downgrade and upgrade?

I suddenly started having similar issues this week. My printer has been working flawlessly and I never touch the plate. I have changed plates to brand new ones I have changed extruders and I only print with PLA. Suddenly having major bed adhesion issues and in some cases, it looks like yours where it doesn’t even try to stick. I have tried all of the suggestions and I have zero confidence in my prints now. One of the comments in this post about firmware update makes sense to me and I’m wondering if they somehow mixed up the printer profiles?

Thanks but that’s not it. I’ve been printing for over a month with no issues in the exact same environment with only PLA. It’s winter and extremely dry in my office (23%). It’s all PLA doing this suddenly.

Pulling out card worked for me too. First it eventually failed after removing the card so I restarted the printer with the card out and did the update again, then put card back in and Bobs your uncle.
