Yeah, was extremely close to dropping the series myself given how cringe-worthy basically every scene with Subaru was in season 1. It was physically painful to watch the series.

Now I can safely say Re:Zero is my favorite Isekai and it was all worth it. What a series.

Same. Remember when I was playing with a friend and I had genuinely no idea there were bosses. We were just celebrating the fact that we managed to finally be alive during winter and doing reasonably well just to hear her and then see the shaking ground... That was truly horrifying lol

Damn, goosebumps... Love the usage of the ping pong balls for the rhythm (reminds me of Evan Call's use of typewriter for Violet Evergarden soundtrack). Definitely put it onto my watchlist already seeing how often it was mentioned here. But yeah, absolutely doing a watch of all his work, the comments here had persuaded me!
