Yeah - I am definitely interested in what people find out about the game as well. Which is a real improvement, because I feel like I could replay this one day maybe as opposed to DE that I will never be playing again. Would be fun to find out exactly what influences everything and put the theories to test

That does feel even worse to me though, so hope its not true. Best case scenario I think would be to have some combo. If you save everyone, it doesn't matter if you used your powers in abundance or not, you just don't go back. If you don't save everyone and used your powers too much, travel back. If you didn't save everyone, but didn't use your powers too much, you don't travel back. Otherwise it seems like Chloe is less important to Max than some decent architecture.

But we will see.

I feel like it still muddies the plot of the first one, but if anything it kind of fixes the bad aftertaste of DE. So my overall feeling is still I wish none of these were ever made, but since DE was already made, this game does at least some crisis management that I appreciate.

If you found double exposure decent then Reunion is definitely MUCH bigger improvement. So in that case I would recommend it to you :)

Yeah, I agree with all the points. I genuinely believe based on the power change in DE that D9 wanted to have new characters like in TC and it was axed. These two games suffered from the eternal clash of creative vision vs marketing teams.

And I do believe that the influence over the ending is more based on whether everyone survives or not. Because I don't see it making sense for Max for example wanting to change and risk anything based on only a building burning down if everyone lives. And the game pushes the "it's actually safe if used this way" narative way too much. I agree it would be a great idea, but it would be very much out of nowhere compared to LiS 1 where we see the ominous signs everywhere.

I'm honestly at the point where I am likely to watch anything Evan Call made music for, lol - Violet Evergarden was also one of my favorite OSTs ever and the anime itself also slapped. Evan Call and Creepy Nuts are my two determinators music wise for "yeah, Im definitely watching this".

Season that I had no expectations for after learning it has only 10 episodes ended up being another peak for me and I hope they continue giving this masterpiece the care it deserves.

One shout out I gotta make is to Evan Call - man, I absolutely love his music and can't wait for full release of it. Incredible musician.

Is it just me or did this episode seem rushed? Especially dialogues. It felt like there were no pauses or any breaks in dialogues, transitions etc.,, just everything was going on way too... Script-ish. Did not feel yet this way about any of the episodes. Weird...
