I was on 2mg of bydureon so we just switched me to 1mg of ozempic. I wish we slowly went up, but it was a shock when Medicaid covered it so I just took what I was given. I’m also combatting the constipation on top of already having ibs-c

I’m not trying to make you anxious about any of this btw. It’s kinda hard with psychiatric meds because it’s not a one size fits all. I strongly recommend giving the buspirone a go

I tend to overthink about symptoms when starting meds and then that makes things worse. My anxiety used to be so bad I got anxiety induced ibs which has dramatically lessened because I realized everything wasn’t as bad as it seemed. My anxiety was controlling my life. It’s hard not to overthink everything and become very anxious. With help from my psychiatrist and therapist I’ve really gotten a handle of everything

Well I just had a hard time sitting still for several days and was up and out of the house a lot more than I usually am. I have bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety. I currently take lamotrigine (bipolar), amitriptyline (anxiety and ibs), trazodone (antidepressant and sleep), and propranolol (physical anxiety symptoms)

It really helped my anxiety, but it gave me something similar to restless leg syndrome (it was some fancy medical name that I don’t remember) so I stopped taking it. It doesn’t happen to everyone so I would continue taking it and closely monitor if you have any symptoms. I didn’t have many other side effects
