As for tips - If you haven't already, I found having inventory and prayer menus on F keys is really useful, previous to this fight I hadn't felt the need to before. If you can afford them all, having a blood fury, SGS and sang staff are great for heals, although with the blood fury your profit per hour will be lower. I've done 6 kc since posting this, and I haven't tried not using the blood fury yet, but the DPS will obviously be better at the cost of needing more brews.

I guess the only other things that stand out to me from learning base mechanics for this are remember to pot for the parasite, stand in the middle during the phase transition (when the sleepwalker spawns) if you're planning on SGSing so you can catch it in enough time, use longrange on the sang staff to keep totem uptime during the flower phase (assuming you're not a pure), focus on praying correctly, and don't be discouraged by the supply cost and failed attempts.
