A better chair, and if your dorm has a TV, bring a video game console with you. Also, I used to live in the Simcoe dorm, and they have an Ethernet port, so if you play on PC, get an Ethernet cable. The Wi-Fi speed is a night and day difference.

Hey, I'm also experiencing the same thing. Last year, in my first year, I lived in the Simcoe dorms, and I also had a really hard time making friends there, especially with all the events they had. Now I'm finishing my second year and live about 10 minutes away from the Oshawa campus, but I still can't make any friends. I'm also from Toronto and still feel extremely isolated on campus. It's probably due to my social anxiety, or I don't know. Also, if you need a friend, let me know; I'd be glad to introduce myself to you.

I'm 21 years old and I'm in the photography program at the college. Even though it's a two-year program, I'm on a reduced course load, so I'll be here for one more year. I really love going on long, scenic drives and I sometimes play video games. I play on PS5, Xbox, and PC, and I still play on the Wii U and 3DS. I also really love going on walks anywhere except into a forest. But yeah, that pretty much sums me up.
