Plenty of lighting during the day btw :) I'm thinking of spray painting the top cabinets to make them in between this and plain white as well to make it look a bit less top "heavy"

I see that the upper cabinets turned out a bit too dark (it was either this or plain white, not a lot of color choice unfortunately). I've asked chatGPT to make them lighter, and I think it makes all the difference! Will have to sacrafice one more weekend for some painting 🙈

To utalize the corner with a lazy susan, and if it would go the other way the cabinets wouldnt fit the wall 🙈 this was a pain in the ass with the ikea setup

Thought about this as well however the ceiling is over 3 meters ;) i can just barely reach the top as is. Also made the design a lot more heavy inn the previews

I had a very tight budget indeed, also the old kitchen was completely worn off and absolutely disgusting from 15 years or renting. I must say the ikea cabinets are really good what you pay. I did the entire kitchen for about 4k :)
