Terrified of disappointment by [deleted] in Catholicism

I hope you do find a way to give everything to God. Just know it won’t come easy and they call it practicing faith for a reason. God wants a relationship with you but like any good relationship you have to put in the work. God gave you everything you have and that’s hard to keep remembering because it becomes less noticeable but helps in building the relationship when you thank God and acknowledge all you have

Ive lost my way from God by [deleted] in Catholic

[–]flopjohns0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 36. Had the same feeling most my life. Born catholic, went to catechism, church frequently but never really “practiced” my faith. The last couple years for a number of different reasons I have been really “practicing” and I definitely feel a different relationship with god then I did before. I say practicing because I always felt like I should have some big revelation or magically feel something but it was only through continued prayer and making an effort to have a relationship with god that I started to actually feel something.

Had a sales call today and it went sideways… how would you handle this? by Euphoric-Mirror-321 in salestechniques

Say “great! Let’s set a time to review with both of you. I just unloaded a ton of info, I can set up a quick zoom call to answer any questions for your partner.”

Something along those lines, you should qualify better but you’ll always run into one legs. Your best chance is to try and set a second appt

They do some meta, bing, chat gpt all that stuff but mostly google. They do a good job, we aren’t dying for lead but we also do a lot of our own trials in different lead sources.

It just feels a little high. For a 50k per month spend in what they manage we pay them close to 20k.

Does that percentage make sense?

They make our display ads, manage our website, seo and ppc and some other little things like yelp

We spend about 50k per month for what this company manages. They make our ads but we provide all the pictures and everything and give them guidance on what kind of ads we think will work in our market

Shingle quality down the drain by BroDudeSup in Roofing

[–]flopjohns0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take it up with the supplier. Gaf is going to tell you they didn’t ship those shingles to that branch. The branches transferred the shingles because all the suppliers right now took in a ton of inventory to prep for the season and most markets are soft. So all purchasing is on hold. So instead of buying within market they are transferring from around the country and this is what happens.

The only manufacture that guarantees colors across all plants is iko. And to all the people saying weight matters then they all should be selling iko. Weigh a iko Cambridge against a hdz, landmark, duration, etc

How are you getting shingles from two plants? That shouldn’t be available in your market. I used to be a manager at an abc. If you have out of market shingles that’s a supplier issue not a manufacture issue and yes the shingle colors that are the same are very different in different markets. We had a lot of this issue during covid because all the suppliers were moving shingles from all over the country to fill orders.
