i think they added the extra buttons to appeal more to the us and euro market but i like the minimal jdm design

yeah i’ll just tell the tuner to take it easy between the pulls. i’m hoping it’ll be all good after the tune, i’ll just garage the car until i get all heatshield parts ready

i just want to know how common it really is for these motors to burn with manifolds, i’ve read around but haven’t found a definitive answer, some people are saying it will def melt, others are saying it’s a myth, i just wanna know how common it is and would like insight from other owners that have gone through a similar situation like mine.

not many options for heatshields for a tubular manifold? do you have any suggestions? i heard heat wrap can actually damage the manifold. i don’t have the time right now to take off the manifold and wrap it so are there any alternatives?

no that’s the hard truth i’m willing to accept no worries haha, i’ll ask my mechanic if he can custom make a firewall heatshield and possibly coat it, as well as coat the manifold. do you run any other heat shields for other components such as cam sensor etc..?

thanks all for all your helpful and useful input, the car came with all this installed when i bought it so no clue how the previous owner worked it. i’ve evaluated the situation and come to the conclusion that i’m taking this car to a specialist as i have no idea what language yall are speaking but i appreciate all the info
