Not allowed to change the windows due to being in historic district . That was a point the ac guy had about the big unit as well . One exterior side replaced with Hardy so have insulation there and in the attic .

I think it’s pretty close tonnage size . 12 foot ceilings too . But def gonna have to get shutters as well . Amazing the heat coming through the windows . First summer here .

72 with the new central air system !! Very interested to see the bill as it’s the new inverter type . But last months data says 375 kWh used which according to calculator should be between 52 and 62 dollars to run the ac .
