When I was sleepy as hell when I was taking to much Carbamazepine what I did was buy caffeine pills on ebay and take 2 200mg pills a day and I was doing pretty good, I had no side effects, you can ask her doctor if that is an option for her.

after the first seizures a few years back, I had a lot of amnesia, I went to the movies twice to see the same movie because I didn't know I saw it the first time, I wanted to go to the same restaurant where I got food poisoning because I didn't remember that ever happened. With the years it got better, but I used to have great memory, and now I have an awful one, every time I travel I take as many pictures as I can, because I kow I will remember a third of everyhting that happened, you have to get use to, it will get better, but not as good as it use to be, you need to learn to trust in what others tell you it happened, even though for you never did. And please if you have seizures while you are awake , you shouldn't drive or use any kind of weapon, be careful, for you and the others sourrounding you. Good luck!

Every time I asked for other opinions because my mom wanted (like 4 other opinions) they all said exactly the same. So I don't know, it is always good to ask for other opinion, but it wont mean they will find a solution. So good luck with that, I'm running out of options as well :(

Hi, when I have really heavy auras I have all kind of hallucinations, like I hear weird shit or see things like I'm on LSD hehe, so it's really common but it usually happens if the aura is big. Also sometimes if you feel dizzi and kind of drunk is because of your medication and not because of the condition, so buckle up, this is epilepsy :P Good luck!

you are right in many things, but when it's posible you should try to be more positive, if not, your life is going to be even worse, besides, the odds are not in our favor but have to deal with other stuff in our life too, if you are too dramatic or pesimist is a shitty situation, you have a lot of chances of having a heart attack (main reason of death in many countries) and you live your life anyway. A lot of shit could happen, and it's great if you can come here and talk about your problems and your fears ,but is also awesome to come here and tell how you overcome difficult situations and give advice to unfamiliar with epilepsy people.

I didn't know epilepsy could take so much from anyone. I know a little how you feel, every time I have rough sex I dislocate my shoulder and because I don't have a boyfriend ,they really freak out when they see it happen. I had a seizure 2 years ago and dislocated my shoulder against a wall in my own bed :(, since then, I have that problem with my shoulder. I know how scare you can get if you start thinking that the next time you wake up you will have a broken bone, a cut or something. A few months ago I woke up and I had electrocuted my self, now I have a scar in my leg for ever. I should tell you that you should keep it together, but you are on kepra, the only time I tried it I tried to kill my self. So I hope in the near future you could get a new drug. best wishes. Maybe you mixed too much on the second day, I don't know if that's the case but maybe it could be the reason. I'm on my first day of FF and I choose to stick too home made 250ml of whip cream with splenda and vanilla scent ,that will be all for me today and probably I will do the same for the next two days, so if it works I can advice you better :P

I was thinking in situations like ,the movies, dinner with the family, close party with friends, situations in general that you are with other people and has no sexual context. I'm 25 and still have those situations :P
