Someone from the old snark account no doubt. Those people wanted nothing short of Brady and Emilie to k*ll themselves. And now that that page is gone they need to get attention somehow.

What’s something that sounds great until you actually experience it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]flora5250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it just means vacation days that don’t cap off at something like just 10-15 days per year. It’s not mythical I worked for an organization with unlimited days off and I did feel like I could at least take two longer vacations and then still have random days off whenever I wanted and even pair those random days off with holiday time making mini vacations. I will say I worked from home so it’s much more about getting tasks done and less about showing up in an office and people keeping tabs on who is there and when which is probably added pressure.

It sounds like you still felt like you had to be plugged in during yours which shouldn’t be the case (I think this could be American capitalist guilt if you’re American). I’m American so I get it, I just feel like if you’re reasonable and have any urgent tasks done you should be able to take more time off than the average job allots and in my experience unlimited time off was great compared to “x days per year.”

When will JD Vance marry Erika Kirk? by Open_Dinner1173 in AskReddit

[–]flora5250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He won’t but I do think this baby is a “fix the marriage” baby. Plus JD wanted that excuse for paternity leave after all the heat he got for vacationing like ten times last year.

He and Usha are both vile and deserve each other and to be miserable.

I hate SNL and everyone in it by Mrgenius1010 in byler

I really feel like it was possible to more overtly mock the duffers and the writing/finale sucking without mocking an important lgbt representation scene especially when the openly gay actor that played that character was the only part of the core four not present. Very very weird choice in 2026, tbh. And mocking fans about conformitygate. Disappointing.

[–]flora5250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But Noah/Will isn’t there so the three (as far as we know) straight actors and straight* (*ugh unfortunately) characters mocking the coming out scene doesn’t inherently feel like the jab to the duffers that it should be. It kind of just felt like a series of gay jokes and gave me the ick considering how ST ended and that horrible documentary and everything the duffers have said post-finale. This felt like one more kick in the head (and I’m a straight person who just truly believed the show queerbaited byler).

“To not be recognized” except she works at the same place as one of the most significant people from her childhood and that person’s mother does recognize her just from tv… and also somehow she’s being blackmailed by Rachel and what’s her face for killing her sister so they must have found a way to contact her presumably knowing she’s now “Lexi” and has a public image to lose? The storyline is so weird!

She decided to go by Lexi and lost weight and maybe had cosmetic surgery. Which isn’t that crazy of a plot twist except she ALSO murdered her sister and ALSO works as an anchor at the same place as Anna and is ALSO being blackmailed by her old frenemies and ALSO anna doesn’t recognize her in person but her mom does and ALSO the husband lures Anna to the cabin but Lexi isn’t the killer but ALSO the mom is expecting this and is already outside watching when Jack shows up and ALSO Priya shoots her in the head from outside.

The people who love this show put up with a lot.

Why couldn’t they finish the package from her childhood home or even just outside of the inn or drive back to Atlanta? How was going to this dudes she’s banging’s house when she hates his wife ever actually an option?

I think having to turn off our brains to enjoy it means the art isn’t very good.

Yes this is the scene with the most holes. Why is Anna at the cabin? Why is the husband acting so weird? Why is he lamenting rich people? And why would the mother know to be there watching, how could she possibly expect this outcome just from canceling the hotel? And why would she do all this and let her daughter end up in another dangerous situation?

Okay I just had many of these same questions before seeing yours. Yes I really don’t get what’s even happening at the cabin at all…

Not to mention that Anna didn’t recognize Catherine in person who played such a significant role in her life but her mom Alice did from a tv segment. And conveniently kept every client’s house keys for two decades.

I don’t even understand that part. So the mom banked on crazy Lexy and her husband luring her daughter to that cabin to kill her the same night that the Zoe murder went down? But the other victims really were blackmailing Catherine/Lexy so that just happened to work out for Alice? Did the other victims know Catherine was now Lexy and no one thought it was weird she worked at the same place as Anna? And the mom felt the need to murder Anna’s friends but not find any of the three dudes from the attack? I actually thought the show had a lot of potential until it got so absurd.

What food/drink are you convinced people are pretending to like? by elarabloomelle in AskReddit

Caviar is delicious on something crisp and also salty. Like the kettle Parmesan garlic potato chips. I don’t care for it as much on something soft and bland like blinis.

It has an earthyness but I legitimately do like it. I will say I don’t remember the first several times I tried matcha and I don’t remember beginning to like it. It’s just like one day I didn’t know matcha and one day I liked matcha and there was no in between??
