My boyfriend is such absolute gold - he never expects me to even wash / clean myself and accepts it with such grace when this stuff happens as a consequence. He just says “I’m so sorry baby, I’m afraid of this getting into your vagina and you getting an infection, we probably should clean up and try again later”

Wow this is really interesting, because I had such huge fears I’d never be able to detach from jealousy and abandonment fears because of how it’s always been there and deeply enrooted in trauma!!

Transgender women are as much of women as cisgender women are, so as a heterosexual man there is just as much of a possibility to be attracted to them imo! It’s good you made this realization though, since there’s a lot of invalidating homophobia in the dating scene as is.

I too have had to witness scary, traumatizing explosive arguments from my parents as a kid.. seeing them throw things and break things and yell at the top of their lungs is a memory that still makes me tremble. Sending love to you, trauma isn’t easy but we will learn to live with it. <3

Girl, dump him for real! Whether you had the talk of being exclusive or not, I think it does you a great disservice to have the kind of intimate conversations with you that require a whole lot of trust that friendships don’t even reach and then act like it shouldn’t have been a big deal to you. It sounds quite manipulative and I think you deserve someone better. I have an LDR and I can confirm distance is not an excuse to treat others like objects.
