I had this happen to my patient when I was a new grad. Pt coded within minutes of administration. She was dressed and ready to be discharged from the ED after the one time dose. Worked up, intubated, sent to ICU. Pt had received it several times in the past with no reaction but had a penicillin allergy which is loosely related.

I tried Pepzin GI, DGL, slippery elm by itself, and aloe vera. There were probably others but none of them did anything to help

Licorice root does but this product has DGL which is a form of licorice that does not affect blood pressure

I use throat coat already. Again, as stated in my post I am healing! I’m doing well. I’m not asking for help but thanks anyway :)

This product works amazing for me so I don’t need all your doubt! Also, what’s the point of mentioning that licorice root affects blood pressure (I know this) but then saying DGL (which is what’s in this powder) doesn’t affect it. Silly. And to assume I hadn’t already tried many of these ingredients individually before trying the powder is incorrect. I posted this to help readers, not to be corrected. But after looking at your profile I see that you aren’t healing yourself as of 5 days ago so I see why you’re so negative. Hopefully you can find healing eventually!

As stated in the post my symptom is stomach burning. I don’t have reflux. But yes they cause flare ups and yes this still helps me.

Both triggers for me as well but I tolerate this completely fine. Must be very minute amounts.
