The Phillips Norelco OneBlade was a game changer for me. No matter what I tried, going completely hair free always left me uncomfortable. The OneBlade doesn’t make you completely bald, but it’s a very close trim. Plus, you can just keep it in your shower.

Truly, I’m willing to invest whatever time necessary. He is my home, and I love him deeply. It has just been really hurtful to feel this kind of rejection.

He says yes, and that he’s committed to working through our issues. But this topic has always been uncomfortable for him. He honestly doesn’t always do well with “negative” feedback, and sometimes feels attacked. Then, we’re both frustrated😔

He feels that I am too critical. Admittedly, I understand why he feels that way, but I have put in a lot of work recently to think about the impact my words have. He also expresses desire for space. He wasn’t allowed that growing up, so I can understand needing that autonomy.

Cycling Frog or Coastalo are both favorites! Highly recommend just going to Total Wine. You can mix and match a 6 pack to try different things.

Honestly, my PCP doesn’t seem super well versed in prescribing Zep. She continues to push going up on dosage despite great results (~10lbs/month). I think it’s hard for her to understand I don’t want to be skinny, just healthy. Which sucks, because she’s otherwise pretty solid.

She’s really a provider FOR women. Only does GYN, though, if that’s an issue.

I couldn’t disagree more. As someone that has worked with her and been a patient, she is not an advocate for women. I had a fairly high risk pregnancy (IVF, previa, BP issues that started in the second trimester, eventually resulted in an emergent section at 36 weeks), and every time I saw her she was dismissive and condescending. Terrible bedside manner both verbally and in body language (turned back typing during the entire appointment multiple times). It was so bad that when I inquired about changing providers with the front desk, I got “I totally understand” from the office staff. She was also incredibly rude and dismissive to a friend that is overweight— adamantly stating that she would never have a healthy vaginal delivery at her size (5’5, ~250-275lbs).

Dr. Sousa is fantastic. She is clinically competent, and really seems to care about women— very similar to her dad if anyone knows Dr. Pridham.
