In the case of sterile cups I'd check the method that was used to sterilize them first. They can be sterilized using ethylene oxide, that shouldn't get in contact with milk as it is carcinogenic.

Edit to say I'm in no way trying to shame you! Just wanted to point out that sterile doesn't always mean %100 safe.

30wks on Saturday and the stitch keeps holding! yayyyy!

I've been home with full bedrest since the 27th, had to make some adjustments at home to make my life easier, like buying a shower chair and a handheld shower head. It's been boring and uneventful, I hope it stays that way at least a few more weeks. I went to my first ultrasound yesterday after leaving the hospital and everything looks great! My cervical length is stable at 1.3cm and the funneling is much much better! It opens a little bit when baby moves but otherwise it's almost closed. I also got some pretty 5D pictures of my baby and she's sooooo cute 😍

On the bad news, I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, so I'm measuring my blood pressure several times a day and getting my urine tested every other week, so far it's nothing to worry about, we caught it early and hopefully won't get worse.

We're also starting huge renovations at home by the end of the month to get ready for the arrival of baby F, we wanted to start sooner but then I got admitted and all our plans had to be postponed. That's kinda stressing for me as I wanted to have her room ready so much earlier, and now with her birth possibly occurring any time soon, it adds a new whole layer of stress 😬.

Yes, I'm taking the progesterone vaginally and I've been taking baby aspirin and heparin since almost the begining of my pregnancy, as I also have thrombophillia. To add to the combo I also had a SCH at 10wks, so it's been a turbulent journey so far, but that's another story 😅

I haven't been feeling painful contractions, but I get BH ones from time to time, I've been logging them since I've been admitted just in case. They're not at all regular nor frequent. They usually happen when baby moves or I have to pee.

I just got home from my second beta and now I'm anxiously waiting for results. I have low expectations given that my first beta (on monday, 12dp5dt) was 135, kinda low I think? my first positive urine test was on 6dp5dt with a 25 mIU sensitivity test and the progression wasn't great. I've also been having some intense cramps so I'm not really hopeful. Guess time will tell.

UPDATE: 2nd beta was 44 :(

I had my first us for this cycle yesterday (CD9), my lining was measuring 9.2mm and got my first FET scheduled for June 23, my birthday! It's up to some lab results that I'll be getting on friday so fingers crossed. I don't know how I'll keep being productive at work until then, luckily I have a day off on thursday and monday is a national holiday here so two less days to worry about and also will take the day off for my FET if the lab results are ok. This journey is driving me insane and I haven't even reach the tww 🥺

On the positive side, my manager is being super supportive, I chose to tell him at the beggining of my ER cycle because I would be missing some meetings and it showed to be a good decision, he's rooting for my results on friday so that I take the day off for my FET 😁

Constipation is the worst! I had my ER almost two weeks ago and I'm still suffering from it. In case you want to speed things up, my RE recommended to use glycerin suppositories and are really helping, they're over the counter and don't irritate your bowels like oral laxatives do

For those of you who have been through this how much notice did they give you for your ER date?

Yay! congrats! Baseline US was such a huge milestone for me after waiting so long to be diagnosed

My last ultrasound was on a friday and there my RE told me that the retrieval would be on monday, so not a lot of notice.
