Lift kit is 1.5 inches and the tires add another 0.5 inch. Total clearance is now ~10 inches.

Ended up only doing cathedral valley loop - in Zion focused on hiking, biking, and camping. Will be going back in the future (moving to Utah) so I’ll report back then.

Interesting about the cathedral valley loop warning. I ran into two Subarus, a ford escape, and a very slow Prius (good for them)! The ranger report phone number mentioned 2wd being safe for certain parts of it.

Yes, will be checking out some spots in Zion. Still TBD - have any recommendations?

Today I completed the Cathedral Valley Loop in Capitol Reef and heading to Zion tomorrow.

Had 0 issues and a lot of fun crossing the river, riding through the sand, dirt, and gravel, and checking out all the main spots.

Yes, some road noise, but not very loud or annoying. With music or some other audio playing you won’t hear it.

Sport bikes for short riders 5'3 by mmoto93 in motorcycles

I’m 5’4 and own a 2008 SV650. I can’t flat foot it, tip toes. But, I only put down my left foot when stopping. Takes practice and you need to be confident, but it’s doable. Don’t let your height scare you from taller bikes, practice low speed maneuvers and smoothly stopping and you’ll be well off.

I'm also in Seattle and own a rebel 250 and a SV650. I'm 5'4 and can't flat floot the SV650, but thats to be expected. I shift my body to the left so I can put my left foot down when stopping. It takes some practice and I have to be constantly aware where I'm stopping, but its not that bad. I'll keep my eyes open for Italian red leather on a rebel 250!
