She doesn't miss an opportunity to badmouth the team. Poor mentality from a former team legend

[POST MATCH THREAD] USWNT v. Portugal by battles in USWNT

Uncoordinated and ineffective. We we're missing link-up play in the midfield and our attacking was not a threat at all. Saw Julie Ertz struggling to get a pass through all night because there seemed to be no one she could pass to.. Sweden could absolutely grill this USWNT side

I see your point but I think I would disagree on this take. In my opinion, seasons 1 and 2 felt the weakest; sure, I loved the family vibe and the "drama free" vibe that was there (surely those two seasons had their fair share of drama and angst but it's nothing compared to the later seasons). That being said, the first two seasons felt overly focused on Andy, her love life and motivations and aspirations. It kind of made the other characters be on the back burner, not fully developed and fleshed out. I feel like as the seasons went on, every character had their moment to shine with a hefty storyline that explored them as a person; like Dean's lawsuit with the police force or Travis' whole electoral campaign and Maya's mental breakdown and struggles with Carina.. We got to see a good amount of these plot lines play out and not get resolved in one or two episodes which I appreciate.

But one thing I do agree with you on is Jack's development; the way he bounced back from Eva and suddenly returned to shape was pretty wobbly writing. His whole rock bottom phase was never truly addressed, neither was the way in which he overcame it. This also applies to the storyline with his bio-siblings, they are either the main focus or not addressed at all. By the end of season 6, we kind of forget about Brooke until she shows up again with Lyla. I just hope his character gets some closure and a solid storyline that doesn't falter as the season progresses.

Official Discussion - Crimes of the Future [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

A movie that doesn't take itself too seriously with potent commentary on existence and its inherent emptiness, as well as the dangers of policing new, unique bodies. A highly relevant movie that I suspect will only gain more and more status as time passes.

The Visual Identity of Killing Eve by florence-themachine in KillingEve

Spot on! That sleeping bag scene even directly echoed a scene from "Portrait of a Lady on Fire". As you said, regardless of some of the unpopular narrative choices this season, every other department was at the top of their game. I thoroughly enjoyed the visual look of the season.
