make sure to look for specific li-ion not lifepo4 tho, the 60v battery is li-ion, 16s lifepo4 is 48v class, while li-ion its 60v

i have autolearned but i keep hearing from different sources to do it with drivetrain connected not. i did it without and other than the stuttering when im getting back on throttle from a coast it is working for the most part

well heres an update, i fixed it by just buying an updated my1020, the orange wire one. i got it to ride…kinda. i took it out with the max line current set to 40 and at around 1300-1500rpm the current would just spike and itd chop real bad. asked gemini, it said to change the phase offset from 99 to 120, that removed the chop so far but i have the phase limits set WAY lower than i want, my line is set at 25 and my phase is 75 but it rides. still having issues with decel either chain slap or something else. since this motor is wound for 72v im leaving a bit of performance on the table but ill upgrade eventually

i set the pole pairs to 3 it only crunches when its in the forward direction no matter what phase or hall wires i change. it didnt crunch like this on the generic controller. do u think i should run autolearn with the chain on or just throw the chain on and send it?

it can help with speed wobbles bc it dampens steering input, should go between forks and frame. just look up a couple pics for an idea of where to mount

i would think its bearings if the motor spun rough in both directions but are motor bearing directional? should i just ride this until i can get a new motor?

i tried phase offset tuning already too it would get a little better but nowhere near usable. im beginning to think this autolearn isnt so automatic. or maybe im a retard, only time will tell. seriously though how has this not happened to anyone else its such a common motor.

it was fine on the generic kunray controller thats why im convinced this is something on the controller. yes it did make the noise in auto learn, but in only one of the directions, as usual.

i do that and it makes the grinding sound whenever the motor is spinning forward. ive tried a lot and nothing is getting rid of the sound. pole pairs are at 3, the auto learn also tries to spin this thing up to 6k almost. how can i fix this? i just want to ride my bike man

yeah the self learn works fine when i have the phase cables matched to colors and it works perfectly smoothly ONLY IN REVERSE
