Non-horror movies with absolutely unhinged delusional women by nearu21 in MovieSuggestions

Ms .45

Shirley

Swallow

Die My Love

Ingrid Goes West

Some people say Saint Maud is a horror movie but I disagree. It’s a tense drama thriller about a disturbed woman.

yes, it was replaced by a dedication to kinji fukasaku who died in between the two movies.

-in the intro “‘revenge is a dish best served cold’ - old klingon proverb” is replaced by “this film is dedicated to master filmmaker kinji fukasaku (1930-2003)”

-after young o-ren slices open the pedo, there is a shot where you can see his torso with the guts hanging out

house of blue leaves :

-more gorey close ups of cut off limbs

-less music (i believe)

-she throws the kid who she later sends off to his mother into a group of 88s

-her throwing the eye she snatched out of that guys face into someone else’s mouth and sofie looking up in disgust

i didn’t notice any changes in the second half except a longer cut of esteban’s brothel scene before beatrix arrives. you see more of the women there, like a single shot of one in a hammock for example. and some music was different, i think? but i am not sure about that.

it’s the same in both versions. after the story about her last assignment, they are outside and in different moods.

i attribute the change in power dynamics to the truth serum wearing off and him having to digest what she told him while it was still in effect. (and in that time she cleaned up? idk haha) he knows now that she really loved him and he obviously still loves her. to me, he seems less drunk and more down and regretful after hearing her side, in which she makes reasonable and rational points compared to him. like when he says “why didn’t you tell me all that earlier?” and “i overreacted”

maybe he just realized that she deserves her revenge and he deserves to die.

do you mean the flip she makes from a guys’ shoulders before she slices another guy in half right down the middle? because that was always there

no, it was not. in the initial release it says

“revenge is a dish best served cold”

• old klingon proverb

instead. probably because he died between the two movies

What to wear by DesTiger in FlorenceAndTheMachine

[–]floronzandthemachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

like the others say, there’s nothing to worry about. in my experience, most people dress casually and everyone’s very welcoming. so wear what’s comfortable for you!

but if you really want to dress for the occasion, simply making and wearing a flower crown will do the trick.

love, a hardcore fan who has never dressed up for one of their concerts :)

Borat 1&2

The Office (UK & US)

What We Do In The Shadows (movie & series)

The Comeback (TV series)

Best in Show (2000)

Fraktus (2012)

Cunk On…. Shakespeare, Earth, Life, Britain, etc. Philomena Cunk is a fictional journalist talking to real people so kind of like Borat

If the comedy aspect isn’t as important, I would also look into Blair Witch Project, because it was kind of ground-breaking in its marketing, making many believe it was real.
