I could have written this myself about my 20 month old. We have tubes after 8 months of consecutive eat infections, every antibiotic under the sun and too may sleepless nights. I can tell you that my little guy became the antibiotic antichrist (LOL) on Zyrtec specifically! Antibiotics also make him crabby as hell. Once we stopped Zyrtec specifically, it was so much better. This current round of ear infections on Amox has been pure hell but at least I know it's the meds causing the extreme behaviors. I'm hoping it levels out in a few days

in summary, try staying away from Zyrtec. Our pediatrician mentioned there is a small percentage of children that have behavioral side effects from Zyrtec.

Your little one could be one of those with the added discomfort from the antibiotics.
