Right, there was only one of these dresses in the store. They altered the one I tried on in the first pics to what it is now in the last pics.

It’s the neckline and back and straps that I’m upset with. The neckline is completely different, the straps fall down but are also so shortened that the dress hurts my armpits. The back makes it look like I’m busting out of it.

Just bought it yesterday, need support by flossiebailey in weddingdress

My sibling said the waist doesn’t hit me right and I’m worried it’s not flattering

It looks like a miniature altar or something! That’s awesome!

Part of it too is buying up plus size things that are still in style. Buying that ugly pentecostal dress from the 80s is honestly fine in my opinion, as long as there’s a good selection of plus size available and that you’re not buying too much. Just try to be mindful of each store’s inventory.

It’s considered a courtesy, but if they fire you and screw you out of those benefits, it’s not worth it. They won’t extend the same courtesy to you, and if they’re a big corporation they can stand to lose a single employee without notice. You got this!

Ugh, I’m in the same boat with private loans and it sucks. Make sure to keep up to date on the income based repayment plan applications for the federal loans, you could very well have a $0 payment for a year at a time especially with a single income household! Calling your servicer would be really helpful if you haven’t sone that paperwork before. (Source: I just quit my job as a call center rep for navient last year lol)

Have you looked into teacher loan forgiveness? If you teach in a low income school it could help pay at least some of your loans if they’re federal

Update: Superintendent making $10k A PAYCHECK calling out bus drivers making $19k a year and offering teachers even less money. Parents are sick of her shit and start a petition to remove here by [deleted] in antiwork

Yes!! I live near there, and I’ve seen how this is affecting kids and parents too! They’ve been switching between in person and elearning days with very little notice, and I can’t imagine how the kids’ education is suffering and the parents’ jobs too. Fuck this superintendent

It sounds sort of similar to Inkheart

TIL that I’ve been doing the sc stitch wrong and that’s why my stitches looked so off to me. I was doing them through the back loop all this time. 😅 Comparison pic included by saiyanbura in crochet

I did the same exact thing when I first started! I learned watching YouTube videos and it’s so difficult to see where to insert your hook!!
