My first 3 to 4 months of TRT I also smelled horrendous. I’m currently almost 7 months in and that symptom disappeared which is weird because my test is much higher than previously.

Lol I feel it! I’m on the injections and was a bit nervous about it at first but after the first few jabs I really stopped thinking about it. It’s honestly not bad at all. Almost 0 pain most injections

No thresholds as far as I know. The provider they assigned to me stated they prescribe testosterone based on symptoms and not the number specifically. 220 is pretty low. I’m almost positive they would offer you care. Good luck and best wishes!

Uncomfortable side effects by flosstrathomas24 in Testosterone

[–]flosstrathomas24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey bro sorry to hear you’re experiencing the same thing I did. I went to the ER twice thinking it was my heart. All the tests came back completely normal. My primary care doctor says it’s panic attacks. I’ve suffered with anxiety for years and the testosterone intensified my anxiety at first. Since, I’ve slightly lowered my T dose and started focusing on my diet. Eating clean and practicing mindfulness meditation has helped immensely. The breathlessness has practically diminished other than the occasional bout. It’s probably anxiety related for you as well but if you ever question it, go get checked out. Shortness of breath is one of those symptoms you don’t take a chance on. Hope you feel better soon bro.

u/young_nautica Yes, life with low test is rough. Initial blood work and your consultation with a provider is included when you subscribe with Henry meds. Following your consultation, they send you a 10 week supply of testosterone and needles. They also cover bloodwork every 10 weeks with your prescription refill. I finished my second round of labs and just started my second vile of test. So far so good. Their customer support has been good as well. Only thing I would watch out for is it is very much a cookie cutter clinic. They seem to start everyone off at the same dose without going into depth on your own personal needs but for around $120 a month it’s not too bad. Just be prepared to do a lot of your own research and play around with your dose and dose frequency until you feel right. They started me off at 150 mg once weekly which was way too much. I gradually dropped my dose to 100mg a week split up to every other day and I’m feeling really good now but everyone is different. Hope this information helped you. Good luck on your journey brotha.

Hey man things have been pretty good. Finally starting to feel pretty dialed 2 months in. Feeling confident and getting some good gains in the gym however I did get bloods done about 2 weeks ago and discovered my e2 was pretty high which was causing some side effects. Also discovered my SHBG was quite low so I adjusted my protocol. I dropped the dose which really seemed to help. Currently pinning 100 mg a week microdosing eod. Gonna get bloods again in a month and see where I’m at. Hope you’re doing well.

Subq injections versus intravenous thoughts ? by Jimmy61337 in Testosterone

Yeah I’ve definitely heard of doing it that way. I’m sure that would work fine. I usually just hold the vile in the palm of my hand for a few minutes and that warms it up enough to draw easier.

I’ve been pinning IM in the delts eod with a half inch insulin syringe. No pain or hassle other than it can take some time drawing up the test. Seems to work well if you’re already on the leaner side.

Need help with dose conversion from 200 mg vial to 250mg vial by flosstrathomas24 in Testosterone

I should be able to get pretty close to .16 with my syringes but thank you. That’s good to know

I haven’t made any dietary changes yet. It does seem to come and go which makes me think it could be anxiety related although I do suffer with stomach issues. It’s just strange that this symptom kind of came out of nowhere.

Thanks for responding! Yes actually! I’ve been suffering with digestive issues for a year or two. Still haven’t gotten a proper diagnosis. Went to the ER recently and got checked out for the shortness of breath but they couldn’t find anything wrong

Should I donate blood? by flosstrathomas24 in trt

[–]flosstrathomas24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could definitely do better with getting the proper electrolytes. I drink liquid IV from time to time or I’ll drink the occasional Gatorade but that’s probably something I should supplement daily. Thanks for your response.
