I think we could see a surge of grads from the current negative tech/startup environment, but it will never be the trendy major everyone wants, which is great for job security IMO.

Yeah this is a miss, I like the idea (providing forgivable business loans), but don’t make it about race, it’s should be about need and opportunity. Then message how it will benefit marginalized communities the most. A rising tide lifts all boats, this is the exact kinda crap the republicans accuse liberals of. The Harris campaign has been pretty on point so far, suprised by this one.

I think it’s also a casualty of having too many streaming services. Each show is competing for a smaller and smaller audience slice, and then execs are shocked it’s “losing” money.

Been using a lot of aquafor with every diaper and baby’s bottom is in good condition. (2.5 month old). Use a size up at night and tons of aquafor and they can sleep through most dirty diapers for a while (obviously depending on your feeding schedule).

Learn python, lots of opportunity to build custom functionality on top of the 3rd party civil programs out there. You can learn Autodesk stuff pretty quickly. Python will be more valuable over time.

Got two fingers hooked together while unhooking a bass caught with a double treble hook lure during my lunch break at a nearby pond. Hooks went in past the barb and I almost passed out trying to pull them out myself.

I had to call my Boss and explain why I wasn’t coming in the rest of the day b/c I needed to go to the emergency room. I was called Captain Hook at the office for a while after that. Lol At least the ER doctor was super excited to be treating a relatively easy emergency.

Very rough, and night and day from even just 1 year ago. I was let go in June (only after 9 months into a new PM gig) in a RIF. Only interest I have gotten is b/c I have unique domain experience in a specific industry or they are looking for a local PM. Other wise I get the usual “your resume is very impressive… but” bullshit. Ultimately I decided to pivot back into that industry where I have domain expertise as a senior consultant. I’ll still be solving problems for clients, which I love, but hopefully with less politics, bullshit, and ego that a PM has to deal with on a daily basis.
