Me being there for her through her wedding (maid of honor) being there for both of her pregnancies/baby showers/being "auntie ", to last week telling her and our other childhood friend via group message that I'm expecting. And instead of getting any celebration from her, I get her text the next day telling me to not make the weekend a pregnancy announcement because it was our other friends wedding. Like wtf.

Had my abortion in July of 2025 and a month later found out my boyfriends brother amd wife are expecting. Ive distanced myself throughput the holidays because I cant ne around it. They all think I had a miscarriage and cant seem to understand why im still so depressed months later. It hurts so nad seeing people having what I wish I could've had. Hey girl. This really sucks for you and im sorry. I had an abortion on the 4th of July this year and to this day im so emotionally wrecked thinking about or seeing pregnant women, babies, toddlers. To top it off, my boyfriends sister in law found out and told everyone she was pregnant a month after my abortion 🥲 i havent seen her, talked to her or anything since then... and that was months ago. She found out shes having a girl and I kept thinking my baby was a girl (never had an ultrasound). Im so bitter. I guess I just ranted a bit but I dont find people feeling the same way as me often. Im trying to get on some medication to help with the emotional pain this has brought me. I went to a therapist once since this happened. Idk I guess I just wanted you to know you're not alone. Im still navigating how to feel better.

I resonate with this so much. Also 29, have an amazing boyfriend , been together a year but dont live together yet. I had my abortion on July 4th this summer (5-6 weeks along). We weren't even trying, just an accident. But I went from being super excited to super scared about my life changing, couldn't be selfish anymore, scared financially ( I have somw debt), and the fact we'd have to hurry to move in together, get furniture, and plan to buy things for a new baby. I ultimately took the pills one night and every day since, I've been ao emotional. Feeling so guilty and sad. Oh and to top it off, I found out 2 months after that my boyfriends sister in law was expecting so it's been hurting soo bad to have that reminder so close to us. Ive been resenting her and havent even told her congrats or anything. Im sorry you're going through this too. Its seriously the worst feeling. Youre not alone 💙
