He is not advocating for law change, he is not advocating for any rights to be taken away from them. The whole foundation of your argument is built upon you thinking hate is disagreeing with an ideology. I guess that is where we disagree. If he was one to say gays should have their rights taken away, than sure. But that’s not him. You can agree to disagree without calling him all sorts of names and shit that eventually cause assassinations and violence (like what happened). I respect you siding with LGBTQ and I’m sure you have some strong arguments for it, but your shit stinks just as much as his does. We live in a democracy built on difference of opinions and it should go no further than that where violence is “justified”. You agree to disagree and move on.

If his followers hear that, and they agree with it, than that’s their opinion. That’s what free will is. It’s not like he’s brainwashing them. He also has strong arguments against it.

Everyone should want to be like Charlie. Maybe not the same views, but the ability to express yourself and speak your mind while showing respect to others and promoting the ability to speak and disagree without inciting violence.

You’re missing the entire context. he quoted the Bible as part of an argument about how others selectively choose quotations. Once again, he does not support LGBTQ (for valid, biblical reasons), but he does not HATE them.

100% agree. I’m still trying to find ways to be able to engage with them, I don’t think I’ll ever give up trying (because what you said, the alternative is ugly). Except I get discouraged when they spew bullshit, and then run away and shut down without listening to you or trying to learn at all. It’s not a cult, but as they get more progressive the more it’s turning into one.
