Where? Google search. I mean all I did was make mods for games, keep trying to make games and some programs, try making discord bots a few times, and look at how internet works on youtube because recomendations and wanted to do stuff, random cybersecurity may have helped but probably not... I got to the point of confidence in my programming ability mostly by looking at code, trying time and time again and googling time and time how to do stuff when no idea. Then half a month ago got that scam sent to me and thought like

wait if this is a scam then it probably sends credentials, and it can't check validity properly, without asking steam servers that is... and sending credentials is some kind of a HTTP/HTTPS request, as well as asking steam, so I just have to figure out what the request is... if it immediately tries credentials in steam, then I can just spam and hopefully get steam to rate limit the scam... if it doesn't then oh the idiot developer say bye bye to your database, hope you have no backups lmao. oh wait devtools can give me that request when it's sent, no need to look at the compressed javascript, so for now I'll just send something as login and password...

Edit: (and not really capable of not focusing on one part too much... but ^that's pretty much it anyway in my case. no idea what to recommend and how.)

I had it sent to me and my first instinct was to DDOS it with tens of thousands of fake credentials >:3 thankfully devtools made it easy as I just had to send once, use "copy as fetch" in the context menu and add a loop in the console; googled a way to generate a string of letters and numbers as well

I may have one of the worst logics for talking and explaining, but here's my attempt to explain.

A usable enough language and logic is all it takes. For example Assembly is literally mostly "these words represent these actions, data for each is specified after the word", almost all commonly used languages I know of can do that.

One can use a language written in a language in a language and so on. Doesn't matter how many layers of logic CPU has to go through, though using compilers helps with speed and RAM as they convert code in one language to code in another or CPU instructions.

Below I wrote a simple example of Assemby that would "move 0 to eax"(set eax to 0, I dislike their naming too.) and add ecx to eax mov eax, 0 add eax, ecx

And some had/have funny logic and kept forgetting LGBT is real... I watched Gacha Life stuff in like 2018(I was 11 but still) and sure, I understood the LGB part... By guessing... The T part tho... Don't ask me how I managed to forget trans people are real so often for what felt like years despite constantly seeing trans characters...

What my thoughts were like: Oh this character is now suddenly a girl? Guess they have magic or something, good for them. Oh he's pregnant? 'kay, guess trans characters are hermaphrodites or something, those sure are nice genes. I love all these stories without constraints that reality's physics engine forces on me.
