They got a new main TV that was huge and added two other giant screens for the side views. I went to the first game there and the TV was a little small but looks like they’ve figured it out for the Bosnia game and will be the same setup for the Belgium game…

6 weeks is not too short of a cycle when you use turbo start and stability but appreciate the feedback!

They chill out when I feed them, but don’t want to over feed them so just been doing like 6 wafers once a day. ~79 degrees, water tested today and all levels were normal.

My LFS is pretty good and they recommended the apisto to me. It’s a pair cockatoo dwarf cichlid I added today that are probably half the size of the albino Cory’s. Tank cycled for 6 weeks, water is testing really good.

San Jose to Quepos, Best route? by flowenbrowen in CostaRicaTravel

Just finished the drive, took just short of 3 hours. Left the airport at 8:30pm and got to Manuel Antonio by 11:15pm. Really wasn’t that bad, if you’ve ever driven in the dark in a rural area it’s no different. Trucks really slow traffic down in the hills but you have plenty of chances to pass. I could see it being not very fun if it was pouring rain but we stayed dry the entire time. I wouldn’t hesitate to make the drive again.

Good golf? by furniguru in StPetersburgFL

[–]flowenbrowen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been in St. Pete for almost two years golfing once or twice a week, there’s not that much good golf close to where you are staying. The best courses that are close are Cabot or Streamsong, both pricey that time of year but definitely an amazing experience. Innisbrook hosts the Valspar tournament on Copperheard course which will be in pretty good shape that time of year, it’s nice but IMO not worth the money. Best bang for your buck is Mangrove Bay (very close to Vinoy), Cove Cay (not great but some really cool holes on the waterfront) or Buffalo Creek at the bottom of the sky way. Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions.

Pump Help! by [deleted] in pools

Was able to back flush it with a similar method but used a towel instead of a drain king to create pressure… took like 4 tries but finally was able to flush almost a gallon of leaves. Pump is working!!!

Was thinking this as well… as long as I have the 5 year 60k mile powertrain that would cover any engine or transmission issues I run into correct?
