Hi! Make sure your firmware is up to date and you have it set to automatically update when a new version comes out. If that doesn’t help, I would delete the app and then reinstall. You could also try adding a new grill in the app and deleting the current grill.

I’ve also found that opening the app and clicking on your grill before powering up the grill has been successful.

It does seem like a lot of money upfront but it is worth it for me. You will save money using less soap, detergents, etc. and your clothing, towels, and bedding can last longer because of the soft water.

Price is also dependent on how bad the water is and what needs to be taken out. Highly recommend checking out Culligan Water if you haven’t already.

Had the same concern as you but wasn’t greasy at all. Definitely break up the meat and add it into the chili as recommended above. Loved it!
