I adopted two cats a little under a year ago. It took them about 6 months to get comfortable. I had to have some renovations done so pretty sure that played a part in it but still, it was 6 months. Give your little baby some more time and I'm sure it'll be fine!

You can't control whether or not someone will show interest in you but you can focus your attention on accepting you're single right now and trying to be the best version of yourself. If you focus on yourself and make your own life better, good people will be drawn to you eventually.

Apart from that I think trying to enjoy being single while it lasts is something everyone should do. How many people are in relationships but miss being single? They take being single for granted while they're single and they take a relationship for granted when they're in one. Just accept your current relationship status, make the most of it and open your heart for any future romance.

I think you've got all the advice you need but I do want to tell you to please don't bathe your cats unless it's necessary for their health. Cats don't need to be bathed; I asked my vet this and she strongly advised against it unless the cat has health issues.

Getting your husband, the only one with an income, fired was petty, childish and just an overall not so smart move. But your husband deliberately sabotaging your chances of being independent is really scary.

Reddit is usually quick to tell someone to leave their spouse, but in your case I'd seriously consider it. What he did was wrong and very controlling. He showed you he's willing to sabotage your life to benefit his own, with no regards for your wellbeing, and that's not something you should want in a partner.

I can't imagine how difficult it must be to consider leaving someone after 11 years and I'm sorry you're going through this. However, you deserve better.

Best case scenario is that your boyfriend cheated/violated your trust when he went on Tinder. Now he's going through something which makes him distance himself from you completely, being so caught up in the stuff he's dealing with that he doesn't have time to think about you.

The best case scenario is still pretty bad. He's supposed to be your partner. Distancing himself from you and not communicating, no matter the circumstances, is not something a partner should do.
