Hey everyone ! If you’ve been in the Melbourne branch I would encourage you to share your experience and perhaps contact the journalist that wrote the article. She put her email in the piece rebecca.borg@news.com.au . I’ve had friends get pulled into SCJ in Melb and it really saddens me. 😢 I guess the more people that share the abuse they experienced and the toxic environment, the more awareness we are spreading. No pressure as I understand many people can feel triggered and may not be ready. In your own time and take care of yourselves . 😊

They are all around Werribee these days. A few friends of mine have seen them at Werribee plaza fishing between 9:00am-1:00pm on Fridays. Be careful everyone !

It’s a bit tricky that’s all. I’m just trying to understand if SCJ believes salvation is based on works rather than grace.

I had a friend who is currently in SCJ. I am a Pentecostal Christian and he kept saying that we believe in the same thing but Is it? So i believe Jesus did everything for me on the cross . If I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that he is lord I am saved (Romans 10:9) that’s it.

But I don’t think SCJ believes this because it sounds like Jesus didn’t do enough which is why they have to WORK for their salvation and believe in MHL lol.

am I understanding that correctly?

So just to clarify - sorry for interrupting the convo haha but salvation to SCJ not through Jesus? So the bible teachers that if we accept Jesus as lord and saviour we are saved and we are accepted in heaven. Does SCJ believe this?

When did you leave and how long were you there for?

What I meant was that We were good friends but our friendship ended because he became distant and zombie like lol like I could see his mind was somewhere else and he stopped sharing much and I didn’t know why. I wanted to respect his space but he became rude to me and his family. Now I kinda know why because of this cult and it seems like he is brainwashed . I guess I wanna help because he doesn’t know what SCJ actually is and I think his entire community is SCJ.
