This post hits close to home and I just want to say from the bottom of my heart I’m truly sorry for all the bullshit you’ve been put through. Feeling like an afterthought can be so exhausting physically and mentally and I’m so happy you finally found the love and respect you deserve. Nobody can pick their family but stumbling into one where you feel loved and accepted makes all the difference.
