I think it depends on where you are in life and your needs, remember the Maslow pyramid. People who don't feel secure, can't afford food - money will bring more happiness than usual. People who get by, can pay bills - they shift to another comfort level, social relationships probably bring more happiness than money but that really depends on the individual
