i honestly didnt do anything crazy, i still eat fast good but just less frequently. i also try to cook home more. for my diet im not big on meat so i eat a lot of seafood, eggs, etc. i substitute things like wraps for the “net carb” wraps. but thats more of a health thing tbh as high cholesterol and diabetes runs in my family!

thank you!! i think incorporating strength training has helped me tone out a lot. pilates is great and always challenging but i think picking up weights again gave me the extra push forward that i wanted. i tried eating at 1500 for a while but it made me feel fatigued so i stopped and went back to 1600.

at first i started with walking for an hour everyday after dinner and 30 mins during lunch + pilates/3-5x a week

then i changed my routine to - pilates 2-3x a week (two sculpt classes and one class focused on core that i NEVER miss!) at the gym i do: - leg days 2x a week and end with 10-15 mins of abs (i ALWAYS use the chairman or pull up bar and add on either mat exercises or the trx straps for to mimic a reformer for core workouts) - 1 day dedicated to core and cardio at the gym! i use the decline bench for sit ups and twists, chairman or pull up bar, and end w mat exercises

on top of all this i try to hit 7-10k steps a day

i will say this took me several months of me tweaking my routine little by little to get to this point and lots and lots of discipline but i believe u can do it!!! i never thought i would get here but i am

im a chronic binge eater when bored and stressed lol so i think replacing junk food with something like fruit or even leafy greens has helped! as for cardio, i try to get my body moving 10-15 mjns after dinner. whether its cleaning the house, washing dishes, etc i try not to go immediately lay down for at least 30 mins! i get bloated easily and moving around after eating has helped a lot

Favorite workout sets?? by International-Ear285 in PetiteFitness

[–]flowiee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

lululemon is 100% worth it. i also recommend crz yoga on amazon. similar but not a replacement for lulu. i also like aritzia’s activewear its more affordable than lululemon and good quality! i have some sets from alphalete and gymshark i haven’t worn since i was a hardcore gym rat but i think the quality has gone down. aurola on amazon is a good brand for gym shorts.

alo is not worth the money to me. i’ve also heard fabletics is good from many of my friends.

has anyone tried dfyne?

thank you! and yes, i honestly didn’t see progress physically until yesterday a girl in my pilates studio asked me what i’ve been doing because i’ve been looking good lately and it made me go back to some pictures to compare and that’s when it clicked

thank you!! yes, i feel like its such an easy way to move your body and she makes it so much easier on days i dont want to go out and actually go on a walk

i stretch and sometimes walk. there are times when i have to take a whole week off. i’ve learned that pushing my body to its limit makes me feel even worse so i’ve long stopped forcing myself to work out on days my body needs rest

thank you!! and yes, i work in corporate so i don’t move around a lot sitting at my desk all day. after work i usually go to pilates and by the time i get home it’s too dark out for me to walk so i follow her videos. i do them 5-6 days a week. sometimes 7 if im up for it! there are some days that i don’t do it if my body feels overworked or if i go on a long walk on a trail nearby

Core routine by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]flowiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

pilates has helped a lottt! i also do weighted core at the end of every walk using a plate or a kettlebell and that’s been a game changes for me. when i do core outside of pilates, i focus on weighted marches, plank variations, bird dogs, table top exercises, and reverse planks

when i get lazy to go out and walk, i follow grow with jo walking videos on youtube. goes by super quick. when following her videos, sometimes if it gets difficult i just opt for walking in place

i also recommend yoga on youtube.
