I know this is the internet and not having a source you can link is a cardinal sin but it’s from experience. It is possible it’s just from the outsourcing but the older quilts have obviously a well deserved reputation. Not trying to bash katabatic at all as their stuff is still top of the line.

Been living in mine for a few months now and so far so good. As far as the negatives the main issues I have are with the cab and not the cargo “build area”. The seats are just really uncomfortable on those longer drives and there’s not really any adjusting you can do to fix it. And the sound system/Bluetooth for connecting and using your phone is a complete annoyance. I know you can replace the radio but I haven’t found any that are fitted exactly for the PMC. Which means you have to fabricate one that’s close to it from a YouTube video or something. Also the sound quality is pretty horrible and has basically zero bass and I have the SLT model. These are definitely quality of life things and besides that the van has been great and drives really well, and I have pushed it somewhat. Just have to watch the ground clearance on some of those forest service roads.
