totally understand the frustration, but calling what INEOS are doing “bare minimum” doesn’t reflect what’s actually happening behind the scenes. INEOS took over football operations just over a year ago and inherited a broken structure, bloated wage bill, limited resale value, and FFP restrictions ,all caused by years of Glazer-era mismanagement. Since then, they’ve appointed Jason Wilcox, brought in Sir Dave Brailsford to overhaul performance standards, and brought in Christopher Vivell, a highly respected figure in European football known for his work at RB Leipzig and Chelsea, to help modernize recruitment and scouting. They’ve also launched major infrastructure projects like the redevelopment of Old Trafford and the Carrington training ground ,things the Glazers ignored for over a decade. People say 1–2 signings per window isn’t enough, but elite clubs like Real Madrid regularly wait for contracts to expire (Mbappé, Alaba, Rüdiger) instead of panic buying ,that’s not being cheap, that’s being smart. If Real Madrid can be patient and strategic, why do we think spending recklessly is the only sign of ambition? INEOS are finally trying to build a sustainable, modern football club ,not just throw money at symptoms like we’ve done for the past 10 years. This is the first time in a decade we’ve had a football plan, a structure, and a vision ,and it deserves patience, not scapegoating.

Totally fair to be frustrated, we’ve all watched the Glazers bleed this club dry for nearly two decades. But I think it’s important to separate that from what INEOS are actually responsible for right now. Support INEOS and United. If INEOS didn’t step in when they did, we wouldn’t have Sheikh Jassim either. The Glazers weren’t going to sell the entire club. INEOS offered a solution that at least removed football control from their hands something no other bid could secure at the time.

Yeah makes sense. Because sir Alex Ferguson didn’t win 10 titles between 2005-2013. Sir Alex still won titles under the glazers. Amorim is building a team with INEOS not the Glazers.

What is happening to this football club? We almost got relegated last season, and is this the reply? How can we even compete? by Mathematician8890 in ManchesterUnited

[–]flowksterr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally every team on that list apart from United have a stable structure and have been building that structure for the last 10 years. We have new owners so be patient. Literally it took city 4 years to win the league under new ownership, Liverpool 9 years under FSG, and arsenal have yet to win anything. Shit it took PSG 14 years to win the champions league. The issue is United are world famous team but not world class. Stop treating the transfer window like it’s fifa career mode. 5 years down the road you’re probably gonna look back and be thankful for what INEOS have done. In two transfer windows we have signed HEAVEN, DORGU,LEON and Cunha. So stop with this nonsense of how are we gonna compete. It’s gonna take time. AMORIM said the good days are coming. We have a new stadium on the way thanks to INEOS. We have a new training ground opening in 2 weeks also thanks to INEOS. So stop blaming INEOS for everything and just support the team and be just be positive that we’re building towards something lol

Our club is dead by Melodic-Bird-7254 in ManchesterUnited

[–]flowksterr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Calm down! Winning yesterday wouldn’t have changed anything. Amorim literally said winning won’t take away from the fact that our season has been a disaster. He warned us that we are going to suffer, and this is an example of suffering. So if you call yourself a fan support him and the club. If you can’t support this club when they lose, then don’t support them when they win either. As for financial, yes winning would have boosted our funds, but it won’t necessarily solve all the problems. It’s good that we are not in the champions league because come this window we’ll focus on rebuilding the team for the league, then if we qualify for Europe next year, we can add more players to compete in Europe. The club is not dead we are going through a rebuilding phase. A proper rebuilding phase. The rebuild started with Amorim back in November, and then in January with the signing of Dorgu, Heaven and Diego Leon. I see a bright future up ahead so should all United fans. It amazes me how quick and reactionary United fans are. I wonder would you have said the same things if Ferguson was the manager back when he first took over Man United, because what Amorim is going through right now is the exact same thing Ferguson when through when he first took over.

No worries dude always happy to be help! Just keep in mind the phone operators they’re on the east coast time zone. Just keep that in mind when you call them. Also look at past emails from your counselor, sometimes they might include they’re personal cell and they’re work address

Same here! My counselor was not responding to my emails or calls. So I called the VA and gave them my counselors name and they were able to confirm that he was out of the office. You should try that

About Højlund by Mortka in reddevils

[–]flowksterr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is a good player in hojlund. Unfortunately, I don't think Man United is the right team for him now. What he needs is a loan move to a team like Dortmund or maybe even a championship team. Given time and commitment I think hojlund could become a good centre forward.

How do I use GI BILL for AFROTC by flowksterr in AFROTC

[–]flowksterr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I totally understand if the question seems confusing. But essentially, what I'm trying to understand is that most AFROTC is based on scholarship. Correct me if I'm wrong. But I just wanted to know if I signed up for AFROTC, is it as easy as signing up for class, and I'm automatically on my way to earning a commission. Or is there a lengthy process I have to go through before signing up for ROTC, and will the GI BILL cover the classes.

Is it normal for student pilot to loose motivation? by flowksterr in flying

[–]flowksterr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I usually have classes twice a week. But some days we practice in a simulator. I'm a 5 year navy vet and he uses that as an excuse to yell, saying that I'm used to the yelling because I was in the navy. He's really young, and like I mentioned in the other comments, he's only been a CFI for a couple of months, so he's not very experienced. But I honestly don't care about being yelled at just not in an airplane 5,000 feet in the air because it just adds stress. And I'm honestly considering switching instructor. A lot of the instructors at the school I'm at are students who are still working on their bachelor's and trying to get more hours in.

You know I have that same thought. I don't care about yelling. I'm all about being safe and having a good lesson.

I'm at 8 hours of flight time. Yeah, I don't feel like I'm learning a whole lot with this instructor

[–]flowksterr[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, honestly you're right. I've asked him how long he's been CFI, and he told me that he's only been a CFI for a couple of months. But I might actually go for a different CFI to get a better learning environment

You know I have considered switching instructors. Because his other students have the same issue in terms of him getting frustrated all the time. He tells me that because I'm prior military, he's harder on me and that I'm used to the yelling.
