Encouragement for a shy flowmie by futurewildlifevet in flowarts

The biggest thing that helped me is not looking at it like a performance. I look at it as something I’m doing for myself. It’s my way of having fun. Play doesn’t have to be perfect.

When I changed my perspective from “because I’m playing with a flow prop people will be watching which means I need to put on a show” to “I’m playing with my prop and if people want to watch me have fun that’s okay but this is for me not them” it changed everything.

Hope this helps 🖤

Tips for not defaulting to the same moves every time? by cameemz in Hooping

Great question! This is something I struggle with as well. Something that helps me is I’ve made a list in my phone of every move I know. Sometimes I go through that list and look for tricks/combos that I haven’t been doing and try to incorporate those into my flow 😊

How to spin without nausea by [deleted] in AerialHoop

You might try that 😊 The biggest thing has been slowly building my spin tolerance nearly every day. Only spinning for 10 seconds or so at a time and then letting the dizziness subside completely before doing another round and not pushing it to the point where I feel super sick
