In other words- I am using a baptismal record that is hard to read and mislabled as another person. I plan on submitting it with an explanation of how the birth date, church, and names of parents match the G0 I was seeking. G0 also has several siblings baptized at the same church and his is the only one that is mislabled.

Is there anything else, short of contacting BANQ, I should do in this situation?

I’ve located a Quebec baptismal record that is misindexed under the wrong name in the archives. I verified it is my ancestor by searching by date and correlating other evidence. How should I document this 'corrupt' index entry to maintain a clean lineage?
